The School Committee entered executive session on teacher and custodian contracts at its Aug. 3 meeting. At a two-minute open session, Vice Chair Kate Sambuco moved to enter a closed session under M.G.L. c.30A, §21(a)(3) to discuss collective bargaining strategy with the Wayland Educational Association Unit A and the Wayland Custodians. A revised agenda filed July 29 had added the custodians unit to a session originally noticed for teachers only.
